DITO CME Holdings chairman and CEO Dennis Uy and CFO Joseph Ong have snapped up P2.4 million shares of the third telco player ahead of its P8 billion stock rights offering.

Davao-based Uy bought 100,000 DTO shares at P6 per share on December 6.

Ong acquired a total of 309,400 DITO shares at a price range of P5.60 to P6.20 on December 6, 7, 14 and 15.

Dennis Uy expects DITO to end 2021 with over P2B revenues

DITO approved its rights offering last December but finalized the terms on December 17 with the offer price set at P4.88 for the 1.639 billion shares on tap. The offering period is scheduled from December 27 to January 18.

DITO hit a 52-week low of P5 on December 20.
