Robinsons Land Corp., the property arm of the bilyonaryo Gokongwei family, further beefed up its retail presence in Northern Luzon with the opening of its third shopping mall, Robinsons Place La Union.

Touted as the biggest mall in La Union, the newest addition to Robinsons Malls’ growing network promises to be an all-in-one spot for shopping and dining needs of Ilocano residents and tourists, especially surfers and beach lovers.

The new mall’s strategic location makes it an ideal stopover for those who are driving to Pangasinan, Baguio and Ilocos Sur.

The four-level Robinsons Place La Union hopes to take advantage of the laid-back beach vibe that draws in people to the “Surfing Capital of the North.” The popular surf town of San Juan, after all, is just 10 minutes away.

Designed by Jonathan O. Gan Associates, the mall’s façade boasts blue-colored curvilinear accents, which are reminiscent of the ripples and waves from the nearby coast.

Robinsons Place La Union will showcase what the Ilocos Region has to offer.
