DM Wenceslao and Associates (DMW) announced the death of its president and chairman Delfin Wenceslao Jr.

The DMW board announced that its 77-year old co-founder died on September 17.

The licensed real estate broker was ranked 37th richest Filipino by Forbes this year with a net worth of $385 million. This is the third straight year that Wenceslao has been in the elite club.

Wenceslao’s wife, Sylvia, their children (CEO Carlos Delfin, Edwin Michael, Paolo Vincent and Delfin Angelo), and his sister, Victoria W. San Luis, is part of DMW.

DMW started in 1965 initially as a general builder and contractor which built its reputation as a reclamation specialist. It diversified into property development with the 107-hectare Aseana City near – Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.’s Entertainment City and the SM Group’s Mall of Asia.

Wenceslao was a former President of the Philippine Constructors Association, a board member of the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Associations, and a member of the Chamber of Real Estate & Builders.

He is an alumni of Ateneo de Manila University and has an MBA and doctorate from from Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila.
