PRCI boss Simeon Cua resigns from Ayala firm

Bilyonaryo Simeon Cua has quit the board of AREIT Inc., the real estate investment trust company of the Ayala family.

The president and CEO of Philippine Racing Club Inc. resigned as AREIT independent director effective December 3 for “personal reasons.”

The New York lawyer will be replaced on the AREIT board by Jessie D. Cabaluna, a director of the AllHome and AllDay Marts of bilyonaryo Manny Villar.

Cua’s family owns the 21-hectare property in Makati, the former Sta. Ana racetrack of PRCI, which was developed by Ayala Land Inc, into Circuit City.
