Filipinos in the three-comma club collectively expanded their wealth in November as the stock market sustained its rally despite the looming threat of the Omicron variant.

The assets of 16 bilyonaryos on Forbes real-time billionaires list rose 2.5 percent month-on-month to $44.9 billion in November.

This is slightly better than the two percent gain in the PSE Index during the same period.

Ports and casino mogul Enrique K. Razon topped last month’s winners with an eight percent month-on-month jump in fortune to $6.6 billion.

His International Container Terminal Services Inc. soared 10 percent to P197.90 while Bloomberry Resorts, operator of Solaire hotel and casino, climbed 15 percent to 15 percent.

The six Sy siblings – Big Boy, Hans, Herbert, Harley, Tessie and Elizabeth – gained four percent month on month to $15.6 billion. The family’s property unit, SM Prime Holdings, jumped 13 percent month on month to P37.40.

Other gainers were Megaworld’s Andrew Tan (up four percent to $2.7 billion) and tobacco and airline tycoon Lucio Tan (up five percent to $2.1 billion).

There were only two decliners during the period – San Miguel Corp. boss Ramon S. Ang (down four percent to $2.2 billion) and Century Foods’ Chris Po (down six percent to $1.5 billion).

11) Elizabeth Sy – $2.2 billion up 5%

12) Lucio Tan – $2.1 billion up 5%

13) Chris Po and family – $1.5 billion down 6%

14) Iñigo Zobel -$1.2 billion unchanged

15) Lance Gokongwei -$1.1 billion unchanged

16) Roberto V. Ongpin – $1.1 billion unchanged
