A long time member of Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co.’s (Metrobank) board of directors, Edmund Go, has passed away on October 12.

Aside from being a Metrobank director since 2007, Go was also director of Metropolitan Bank China (Ltd.) and a member of the board of advisors of Philippine Savings Bank.

Outside of the Ty business empire, the former Metrobank treasurer is a director for investments of Ateneo de Manila University and an investment consultant of St. Peter’s Life Group since 2011.

The San Beda and Asian Institute of Management graduate was a Citibank investment manager in Manila, Hong Kong, Taiwan and New York.
