Businessman Gus Cosio has lauded television host Willie Revillame for shelving plans of entering politics despite his popularity among the masses.

The president and chief executive officer of listed firm MRC Allied was pleasantly surprised on Thursday (October 7) when the game show icon popular for giving away jackets and cash announced he won’t be running for any position in the 2022 elections.

“Di ko ho kakayaning pumasok sa isang bagay na wala akong kakayahan,” Revillame humbly admitted on national TV, saying he does not have the smarts to craft national laws as required of the job.

“Sincerity exhibited,” Cosio said, giving Kuya Wil a virtual pat on the back.
