
Bilyonaryo Andrew Tan announced that his 57-storey skyscraper in Madrid, Spain had been renamed Torre Emperador Castellana.
Tan forked out around P11.5 billion to purchase the all-glass office tower in 2015.
Located in the Cuatro Torres Business Area – one of the most modern and prime locations for commercial real estate in Madrid – Torre Emperador Castellana houses the corporate headquarters of Tan’s liquor business Emperador in Spain.
The complex is home to four of Madrid’s tallest and most iconic skyscrapers.
Torre Emperador Castellana has a leasable area of 60,142 square meters. Among its tenants ae the embassies of Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, the Spanish Banking Association and global infrastructure group OHLA, among others.
Tan also owns the iconic Torre Diagonal in Barcelona and another one is set to launched in the coming weeks.
