Cosio said it was important for the public to know how pandemic funds were spent, despite President Rodrigo Duterte’s statement that audit findings of the Commission on Audit must be ignored.

“Tanong ni Senator Gordon sa video na ito ‘Nasaan napunta ang limpak-limpak na pera?,’” Cosio said. “Simple lang at dapat naman sagutin ng mga nauukol alangalang sa bayan.”

The Senate probe has expanded to include the DOH’s transfer of funds to the Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management for the purchase of COVID-19 related supplies.
