
She shared on an Instagram post that although her boyfriend is not into pictures, she still feels it’s important to document her day-to-day life. This is why she feels really thrilled to have bought an Instax Mini 40.
“Instant prints seemed like a fun, fuss-free, albeit not exactly cheap (given that each print ends up being about P30) way to do so. You never take it too seriously because it’s a literal point-and-shoot — no manual control or exposure selection; you just try to frame a shot, press the shutter, and hope for the best,” she wrote.
As a self-confessed sentimental Cancer, Regina wants to keep her memories intact while she’s still able to do so. She’s just glad that she could do it with an Instax camera instead of just meaninglessly adding photos she won’t remember to her camera roll.
“I want to remember the things I did, the people I loved, every little thing that made me happy, even if years from now I might not remember the context. I’ve been putting the prints in a little album; I think it’s the kind of thing I’ll look back on with fondness,” Regina added.
