In its latest financial report, PAL said its airplane orders set for delivery from 2020 to 2021 have been postponed and rescheduled to 2026 to 2030.

A few months ago, PAL has rescheduled the new deliveries to 2022 to 2025.

PAL said the revisions in delivery were meant “to align with the forecasted recovery of travel demand.”

PAL’s aircraft delivery schedule was revised to align with the forecasted recovery of travel demand. 2020 and 2021 aircraft deliveries were postponed and rescheduled for delivery in 2026- 2030. In July 2021, two aircraft were returned to its lessor.

Last month, PAL returned two aircraft – an Airbus 321-231 and a Bombardier DHC 8-400 – to its lessor. It currently has 95 airplanes of which 80 are under lease.

As of end-2020, PAL still has 13 Airbus 321-231 for delivery – one in December 2021 and 12 to be delivered from 2022 to 2025.
